I'm an Italian, Athens based, filmmaker and visual artist.
My fields of investigation are visual ecology and new media.
In 2018 I started attending the University of Performing and Fine Arts, focusing my research on feminist cinema.
In 2021 I moved to Hungary for work. Living in Budapest, whose socialist history is still permeated through the city,
so different from the Mediterranean in which I grew up, strongly influenced my visual imagination.
Back to Italy, I started attending a master's degree in New Technology of Arts.
During these academic studies I worked with mixed media on the short film format and video installation format.
In the past years I mainly worked with archive. My aim is to answer to question such as:
how can we make technology move in the same direction with ecology and anti-capitalism in an ethical way?
And where does artistic research fit into this picture?
